Well, not officially. My oldest son now has his first pet of his own. I was not sure if I was ready to be a grandma, but I guess I will take it in animal form. :D She is a 12 weeks old. Her breed is a Red Nose Pitt Bull. She was given to him by his friend, who was tired of puppy/potty training. Oh boy! That is a sore spot with me...
Well, I had to share my first Granddaughter. LOL.. She is a cutie. Not sure how much she weighs.
The big boys just LOVE her. Abby on the other hand had a few... letting know who is the boss moments today. The big boys, were teaching her to chill and eat pig ears. It is very cute to watch her follow what they do. She is doing really good. I got/had to babysit her today, while her daddy went to work. We mopped the floor together. Well, she actually was trying to eat the mop and was chasing it while I pushed it back and forth. She had only 2 accidents in the house, Not bad.
JD is crate training her and she will bark when she first goes in. We told JD what he needed to do. Which is to spray her with the water bottle, or to have a soda can with pennies in it. Shake it when she barks. She is so smart, she has already learned. She will now whine for about 5 min, then off to sleep she goes or just lays there quietly.
SOME OTHER GOOD NEWS!!!
I am now officially booted off jury duty. YEAH!!!

oranges,lemons, grapefruits, OH MY!!
This afternoon we went with our youth group. Well a few of them and gave out door hangers. Inviting them to church. While we were walking we came across some fruit.
My kids love fruit. So we asked the homeowners if we could pick some. As you see we got a green light. Then we came across these GIANT lemons. Yes, that is a lemon. We cut them open to see how big they really were. We were surprised to see that they were quite big. I did not eat one. The girls said they were YUMMY!!! The oranges are so sweet. They will all be gone I am sure before the weekend is over. :D

Jake and Dad, guy bonding...
Sunday Feb 15th.... Rain lots of it.. Wrestling lots of it.. And food lots of it...
Jake had wrestling. So we spent most of the afternoon watching him wrestle. He did so well. He did not win any of the matches. He was so frustrated with himself. This is a club team, so most of the kids have been wrestling for at least 4 yrs. I was so proud of him. When he started wrestling for the middle school, he could not even do an arch. Now he is so high off the ground. He held his own. His shoulder is pretty sore. So now we need to look into buying something for shoulder support while he wrestles. If anyone has one and wants to sell it let us know..It did also rain the whole time while we were there.. It down poured..
It was a HAPPY BIRTHDAY for Scooter,Haley and Alex.. They were visiting from WA..
Our picture taker... Some shots of the night. We brought 12 with us and then there was already 7 there. We had a house full. It was fun, even with that many people in the house. We had a spagetti dinner,(compliments of my sis n law), Garlic bread, and salad. It was so yummy... Then root beer floats and cupcakes.
Mike.. Say Cheese!!!
My brother. Doesn't he look good after his accident.. God is good..
Girls focused on playing the games..
Gerald and JD. Being Gerald and JD.. Keeping us laughing..Gosh life would be boring without the two of them.. They just look at each other and start being goofy...
My nephew and his g/f. These to are the ones who introduced Johanna to Chris.. Cupid's in the making..:D
Olya playing with TEDDY. He wanted in on the fun too. I heard he was pretty wore out when we left..
TT and Sarah... She is Gerald's little sis. She came and hung out with us for the weekend. She kept throwing up. She would say, I think I have the VIRUS...She trys to be so grown up for an 8 yr old..
Jake and I..
Hanging out playing some video games.
We played this really fun game called,"I see a BEAR!" It was funny to watch.. The kids seem to think it was funny too. Especially the ending. LOL..

LOVE is in the air..
We had a great Valentine's.. The boys all went out, of course minus Chris. They went to dinner and just had a fun time laughing and such.. They did not take the camera and take pictures for me. :( The girls went to Auntie's and watched movies and ate PIZZA..

Sat Feb 14th. What did Chris and Johanna do..
Well, I can tell you that they only got one pic of their dinner. Heart shaped chips. Chris had the day planned. We got up early, but did not leave early. He had all his goodies ready to go. He bought Johanna, a single red rose,a BIG teddy bear, some chocolate(all girls need chocolate), balloons and a really cute card.. Here are some pics of Chris and all the goodies...
All smiles...
A nice road trip, to get to Johanna's. Love the scenery!
Chris showing off his gifts from Johanna.
They went to a Mexican food restaurant. ..
Then after dinner he took her to Cold Stone for dessert. They were going to go to the movies, but they both weren't feeling that well. So they came home and called it a night.
